Awesome Sunday!
This Sunday at NewCov was one of the coolest stage setups we've had for a "normal" Sunday we've ever had. On Saturday there was a wedding at our church. They used a bunch of cool looks, and as a favor, allowed us to use whatever we wanted on Sunday.
The end result was that we had 6 Vari-Light 2201'ss and 4 Vari-Light 2416's, in addition to some chandaleirs at our disposal. Add a little haze, and viola! You have a rockin' Sunday morning. Here are a few more pictures. More pictures will be posted on Randy Parker's blog. Randy was the genius behind the awesome morning we had. Check out his picture, below, as he mans the Hog 3.

Hey Pat - I gotta tell ya - We brought our neighbor whom we have asked for ever to attend and this was the Sunday she chose. Talk about making an impression - Wow! The lights and the smokin' fog - and those Crystals hangin' from the ceilings - I WOULD LOVE THAT EVERY SUNDAY. Change the colors and a brand new show! Cool.

The center Chandelier was great. That and the toprieries should make a weekly appearance.

Sunday was awesome on so many levels -the look, worship and the sermon all fit perfectly.

The look was smokin' (literally), but I was blown away by the music. The choice of songs that compliment the message week over week add a subtle dimension. We are truly blessed at New Cov. Way to go Pat, Randy, da band, and the whole worship team. And, oh yeah, praise God for allowing this combination plate to be served! Did I mention we are truly blessed???
