It's like this...
It's like this:
Fishing is not about catching fish. It's about fishing. That's why they call it fishing, not catching.
A lot of life is not what happens to you, it is how you choose to react to what happens to you.
We are in the middle of a SNAFU with the school district right now about which school the oldest blonde boy is enrolled in. For some reason, he is enrolled in the Jr. High 3 miles down the road when he should be attending the new school that is opening one 300 feet from our house.
But, like all bureaucracies, it is not that easy. Our school district likes to redraw school boundary lines every ten minutes or so. after our son had moved for the third time, we were given the option to keep him at his school for 4th and 5th grade, rather than have him moved to a new school again.
For some reason, the district folks put him in the computer as staying the course to whatever Jr.High and High School he would then attend.
So now, we are in the process of getting him transferred to the school behind out house.
Only one problem... he is an athlete, and the transfer may affect his eligibility for this year and he may not get to compete.
All of this is very stupid, in my opinion. But rules are rules and we are in the process to appeal,.. yada yada yada....
Which brings me back to my original point. It's not about the situation. It's about how you respond to the situation.
