REALLY great article. Unfortunately, 90% of that is true, especially for those that may not be as connected to the "real" world by other job descriptions (like working with geeky Utility Company engineers) that utilize left-brain functions that this article describes as the missing tools for artists, like oprganizational skills, (especially when playing in 8 bands and carry a student load in addition to a full-time job). Wether we like it or not, we as paid artists are doing a job, and that should be the end of it from our end. Easier said than done, but something we (really meaning ME) should be working on. KC
